First Day Of Bangkok Free Bus Rides
The government funded free bus services for Bangkok commuters have started today. For obvious reasons, I couldn’t be arsed taking advantage of this myself but according to many on Thai websites, it wasn’t as bad as had widely been believed and there were more than enough buses to cater for those unable or unwilling to pay.
But it’s just the first day so I reckon whether or not this will prove a success remains to be seen. And what a shame, the government has no similar plans to help out BTS skytrain commuters, me included, in the near future. Maybe they just know that most of us are supposedly relatively sophisticated and will never vote for them anyway, so they see no point in doing us a favour. Of course it ain’t true, I’m just being a grumpy old cynic after such a long week!

Well …. Bkk don’t need a free bus …it need a new transportation infrastructures - -’ … and better government ….btw ..good one dude
